Hey I found an old topic about the exactly same thing, but as I was not alowwed to reply to that topic, nor did any of the answers say anything useful. So I decided to make a new one, maybe this will get some better answers.
I have a saved game in minecraft, iwch is my best survival game ever, and I DO NOT want to lose it. I play it all the time. But when I go into %appdata% ---> .minecraft ---> saves; I cannot find my save! I have several other saves that works in the game, and they are located in that folder, but not the one I am looking for.
The computer I'm playing on is a MSI GX740 with windows 7 64bit.
I really hope someone knows what I can do to get my save, and back it up.
If the above does not work then give me a list over the folders in the "saves" directory, then give me a list (preferably a picture) listing all the saves available to you ingame.
Sometimes the folder has a different name than the actual save.

Probably this of course. Because the OP couldn't be playing the save it if wasn't actually in the correct place.
