So i've been playing with a friend on a LAN that we made using the in-game option and everything was fine, and then when I try to access the same map in single player signed in as a different minecraft account, it shares my inventory between the two. I've tried deleteing the character file in the world folder multiple times and it doesn't fix anything. Any ideas? Is it assigning those items to the IP of the computer accessing them? It just doesn't make any sense.
Single player games assumes any account logged in is the only player in the game. It does not differentiate inventories or placement data. To get around this, host a server which stores different info for different players.
