My brother just joined Minecraft PC, but when he opens his world in lan the ip is "0.0.0.0" and the port is just some random numbers, and when I try to join it, it says "Connection refused: connect"

Any help at all? I'm using my laptop and my brother is using our home computer

On the server that is hosting the LAN:

Open command prompt

Type 'ipconfig' (without the quotes)

Find the IPv4 address (usually in 192.168.X.X, or 10.0.X.X format, where X is some number)
On the client connecting:

Append the port (the random numbers) to the IPv4 address you found (instead of the 0.0.0.0 use the IPv4 address).

Connect and have fun!
