I'm having an issue with the same error report every time Minecraft crashes. Recently, my Minecraft has constantly been crashing because it has ran out of memory. I have 2 GB installed on my system, and by using Magic launcher, I've allocated 1050 MB to Java for Minecraft. I have Optifine installed, I've tried almost everything... . What should I do?
Well guys, using Optifine, I have all the fancy options off, no smooth lighting, render distance is at Tiny+16, Performance is set to Max FPS, and it does not help. I'm also curious; I've been told before that the more RAM you allocate to Java while playing Minecraft, more of a better performance you will get. Because I was told this, I plan on maxing out my system's RAM to 8GB and allocating the likes of 6GB to Java. But, I'm asking because I was told by someone else that to help improve the game's performance, I would also need a better video card. Which one would help me more, or would both be my best option?
Actually... yes! (DUHRR! (towards me, not you) I cant believe my solution was that simple! But, it was, and now I can enjoy Minecraft without crashing!!!!

Actually... yes! (DUHRR! (towards me, not you) I cant believe my solution was that simple! But, it was, and now I can enjoy Minecraft without crashing!!!!
