Latley minecraft has not been working for me. About 90% of the time I tried to join a server Minecraft would freeze at the "Logging in..." screen. I would therefore have to terminate it from task manager for it to stop. 10% of the time I got lucky and was able to log in, however it is quite random how it happens. But now my Minecraft has gotten worse. That 10% of the time I am able to log in turns to not logging in and coming up with a "Could not connect to server, please try again later: java.net.ConnectException". So now I cannot connect to any server at all. My minecraft client is unmodded, I can play singleplayer just fine. Is there a known way to fix this? Has anyone else had this problem?
I tried force update, I tried deleting everything in my minecraft folder (except worlds, obviously) but it didn't work. As for reinstalling java, there is nothing wrong with my version of java, everything runs fine. This is a minecraft problem, not a java problem, so I don't see where that would become an issue. I have tried that in the past though and it didn't work.
I am still having this problem in 1.5.2.
Hopefully 1.6 will fix it. (I doubt it though)
