Minecraft Forums

I was playing on my friend's server last night, as with every night, and the game was running no problem. I got on after lunch today, and click the launcher, resulting in a black screen for ten seconds, then this error message being displayed. I tried backing up my worlds and re-installing Minecraft to no avail. As far as I know, I have not downloaded any new software since last night. Any ideas?
