hi im having trouble playing minecarft in 1.4.7 and 1.5.1 when i tell my laptop to use my GPU and not my CPU

my pc has dual graphic cards
1st being: Intel HD Graphics 3000
2nd being: Radeon 6770m

now the problem is when i turn off the abilty to use my on-board graphics in my bios so im only using my Radeon 6770m the game make my cards drivers crash and then the game just stays in a black screen and the log says the games still running from what i can tell. the game can start and run smoothly at 40fps and then out of nowhere it fails. i dont want to have to use my intel graphics as they only can handle 19-23 fps if u have any ideas id love to know

i was not quite sure if dxdiag could see both the graphics card so i put the dxdiag in for both mode just to make sure you have what you need to help me and thanks again

If these still show the same issue try the automatic uptate tools on intel.com and amd.com respectively.
As you are probably aware AMD rather dropped the ball on this generation of switchable graphics, in that dynamic switching doesn't work at all for OpenGL apps (like Minecraft & rage), so you will need fixed mode switching and a BIOS update iirc.

yer i did and my intel drivers are working fine when i have set to dynamic and i dont see why i need to update thros if there working fine but the amd drivers that are on the hp support page are the ones i have installed and the amd site for the driveers say i have to cards that they have drivers to

when i updated my intel driver it let me update my amd driver but that cause system instability issues and minecarft still black screened after 2-12 mins

Just to clarify, are these updated drivers you are installing from the HP support site?

those where the ones i had then i up dated them from the manufacturers websites

ok i frond if i leave the game in fullscreen i dont have a problem but soon as i get out it stuffs up but thanks anyways
