A few months ago I created a creative flatland world in minecraft and started building a maze.
After making a huge maze with some redstone, I decided to make a part where I used sticky pistons and clocks to make moving platforms, it worked well for the first ~100 pistons or so but all of a sudden it started lagging and only did one frame every 4 seconds. I thought I should start up minecraft again to get rid of the problem, but this time it crashed after only a few seconds.
I tried this multiple times and it wouldn't work.
So I decided to do everything I could to lower the graphics as much as I could, yet it still crashed after a few seconds.
I thought it might somehow have something to do with my CPU/RAM, so I used my keyboard to monitor it, but it didn't spike when it started lagging.
This is on a new computer with 8 gigs of ram and great CPU and a great graphics card, and this is the only world in minecraft that this happens, and the only program that this happens with.
Also, as I'm posting here I have no mods on it, and this isn't a pirated version.
