I have these problems



1#texture packs doesn't register when i put the pack in .minecraft\texture packs
and i have tried just copying and pasting the Default texture pack does not work
even went into AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\options.txt and changed skin to [my texture pack name] it did not work



2# the original Minecraft demo does not work and i don't know whether that the real version will do that on me or will it be fine to download it [ERROR classnotfoundexception net.minecraft.lancher]


3# and i can't seem to be able to login into Minecraft Launcher even though i can login to MY MOJANG ACCOUNT

Welcome to the Forum.
1) Delete the Resources folder, disable antiviruses/firewalls and Force Update. Wait on the title screen for about 15 mins and if sound comes back then re-enable your firewalls/antiviruses.
2) If the texture packs are in .rar format, you'll need to extract them.
3) Try redownloading the Launcher.
4) Try launching Minecraft.exe with a batfile containing the below code:

java -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true -jar minecraft.exe

well i'm using PC gamer demo for the minecraft demo because i can't run the real minecraft demo
so i can't find Resources folder

#SOUND| this somehow started to work just a while back for some reason

#ANTI VIRUS|i doubt my ANTI VIRUS is a problem

#TEXTURE\MOD PACKS| at one time they worked but now they don't and before it would have an error like this {information from unknown location}
and i make sure that my texture packs are not .rar or .zip files

MOJANG| i can login to the MOJANG page but not minecaft.net or the Launcher { I'M USING A different COMPUTER THAN THE COMPUTER THAT MADE THE MINECRAFT ACCOUNT }

Maybe you are trying to use a biger resolution format.. minecraft is in 16x16 if u use any higher texture size you need optifine

I don't think it's that but it does display an old looking icon instead of using the right icon

Try downloading it again if it doesn't work try another texture pack and also have in mind that texture packs for older minecraft version isn't compatible .. maybe it is compatible with mc 1.5 textures but yeah, hope i helped

i tried to download 1.3 computer-craft but when i tried to load it , it didn't work
