Forgive the n00b question here. I downloaded Minecraft for Mac OSX and have been able to play it offline just fine for months. I did not purchase it and have never connected to the server.
I wanted to get it on a Windows PC, so I downloaded the Windows client. The play offline is grayed out (it says Not Downloaded underneath). I try logging in, but my login does not work.
I'm an OSX guy, so Windows is not my normal realm. My Mojang account is verified, and I'm able to login on the site just fine.
Any ideas? Do I have to purchase it for Windows to just play single player offline? if not, how the heck do I get it to work?
Thanks!
