I logged onto my game for the first time in nearly six months to find my zombies looking like this: I don't understand why my zombies look like creepers on crack. I checked the mob skin and the image looks normal. Any ideas as to why my zombies look like this?
Is the texture pack up to date or the same with your minecraft version? Try re-installing the texture pack, It might of be corrupted or something related to that otherwise I have no idea.
Doesnt matter if its for 1.5 or 1.3.1. 1.5 didnt change the mob files. It only changed the .items and .terrain files and separated all the images into 16x16.
Yes, the only thing I could see being wrong here would be the texture pack.
I may be wrong, but I believe one of the updates in the past six months or so included a few resized mob skins, so they might be out-of-date.

I uploaded my 32x32 zombie image file. You can either use this in your texture or you can use it as a template for your texture.
