So I am running a vanilly server and vanilla client. Another user and I are having the same problem. When I place a sticky piston in a specific spot meant to be a hidden door it becomes stuck open. It is a 2 piston system with a long delay circuit and a latch. If power is applied it extends and if power isn't applied it stays out. Even if I remove every block within 2 blocks of it it remains extended, regardless or orientation. If I move the piston to another position it works fine. The lower piston also works fine. Just that at the one coordinate sticky pistons are stuck extended.
If there isn't any other redstone in the surrounding area, I suggest you:
1) Open the world with MCEdit, close it and test it again.
2) If that doesn't work, quote me when replying and post the world and the coordinates of the piston.
Please quote me regardless.

OH yeah forgot the coords, they are

y:81
z:684
The piston isn't there :/. I had taken it out and the lower one is moved over one block. They should both be up against the stone wall pushing two stone blocks into place. If you need me to put it in place and resend the world just say the words :P. Thanks for the help.

Do you need me to put the piston back? Or what, just curious as to what is up.
Sorry, I had to focus on other things for a bit - also it would take too long to download previously but now it's fast enough.
I'll edit this post if I find anything interesting.
awesome, I pretty much gave up on that base just because I didn't feel like it was worth it changing a lot around. That and it was a fairly old attempt at redstone :P. But the problem still persists and would be interesting to know what is up.
