Ever since i got my minecraft from the mojang website it has had a weird problem where it won't save part of my world every time i log out. It will keep my location and current inventory, but usually deletes things like digging out large area's. i could dig in a straight line for ten blocks save and log out, log right back in and i'm suffocating in the blocks i just dug out with the cobble that i got from digging it out still in my inventory. this problem makes the game (which i love with a passion) unenjoyable. if you have any advice or suggestions on how to fix this it would be very much appretiated. thanks for your time.
Well after testing it for the past hour i've come to the conclusion that my game just likes to make me mad. i really wanted your idea to work, but i tryed several time so go underground, dig a straight tunnel and then hit esc and wait for at one point up to a minute and it worked about 50% of the time. the other times i would end up in the non mined stone, suffocating, with the cobble i just got from mining it in my inventory. at this point i'm considering just giving up until i can get a better computer, right now i'm running off of 2gb of ram, which just doesn't seem to be cutting it.
