I'm kind of new to minecraft and to this forum so sorry if this question seems dumb or I'm doing something wrong...
I want to play minecraft with my friend (in the same world) but for some reason the hamachi website will not load for us. We are both on college internet so I don't think we can do this 'port forwarding' technique, so I was just wondering if there was another way for us to play together?
were on college internet together I don't think that's possible for us
I guess that depends on how the college is distributing your internet connection. Do you have a modem in your room that you plug your computer into or what?

no the routers are all outside they're not in our room I don't think we can mess with them
So you're actually connecting to a network? Are you sure the admins don't allow you to connect to other PC's on the network? Sure wouldn't hurt to ask them about it.

I tried it with terrible results. I gave my wife my glasses for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is pregnant.
Stupid 3D..
