Just today when I was in a ravine mining cobblestone left over from a lava flow (which kept reappearing every time I finished breaking it) Minecraft crashed.
I could not re-enter that world for over 8 minutes. I reopened Minecraft and tried going into the world again. It 'loaded' and sent me back to the main menu without showing me the world. So I tried again, but this time, not without force updating.
The world still wouldn't load!
I opened another world thinking it would work. It appeared to, for one second. Then CRASH.
I reopened Minecraft ONCE AGAIN and tried going into the world. It didn't work. And freaking surprise, it CRASHED.
It has crashed THREE TIMES NOW, in the same hour!
And isn't this interesting? Here's the last ing screenshot I took before I gave up!

I have been playing Minecraft a lot in the last week (and all the weeks before that for months) and this has just started happening. What the hell is going on?
After its the 2 word of u that have this problems u maybe have to do 1-2 basic thinks:
- Delete u minecraft folder (but NOT u save folder inside) an redownload MC.
If this dont work.
- Reinstall u Java.
If this dont work. We have an deeper Problem with u Windows.
After a restart of the computer, Minecraft can handle other worlds just fine. I even went on Rob's Golden Monocle server (which is awesome, by the way) and it has not crashed since.
However, the world named Holy loads me in a huge ass black void area where I fall to a co-ordinate of Y -1 where I can not do anything. Can't even die. There's a picture of it above.
I have already force updated, I don't think reinstalling Minecraft is going to help anything.
I doubt changing Java will work, but just in case I'm getting an apparently newer version anyway.
WOOT nailed it! All is well!
I just had to restart the computer and get a later version of Java. Problem resolved people!
I could not re-enter that world for over 8 minutes. I reopened Minecraft and tried going into the world again. It 'loaded' and sent me back to the main menu without showing me the world. So I tried again, but this time, not without force updating.
