First of all, I am on a mac. When I open minecraft (in app form--browser won't work) and try to log in (with the correct password and username), it says "Login Failed" and gives me the options "Try again" and "Play offline." When I click "Try again" the same thing happens every time I hit it. My version of Minecraft is up-to-date (1.5.1), and I have a good internet connection. What's going on? How can I fix this?
P.S.
My brother and I share the minecraft account on two different logins on the same computer. Each computer acct. therefore has it's own worlds/servers etc. that load, while the actual "Steve" (for lack of a better term) is shared across the computer. When my brother logs into minecraft from his computer account (with it's unique loads), he has no trouble connecting to the internet and getting on servers, whereas I do, as described above. Not sure if that'll help you in your diagnostic, but I thought I'd throw it out there anyway. Please help if possible.
