The auto updater might be a bit buggy on Macs. If it does not seem to work, please install either version 2.8.4 or 2.9.0 of LWJGL manually. 2.8.5 has issues with shift-clicking.

I updated (following all instructions) and let me preface this by saying: thank god I'm not epileptic. I had all sorts of issues including, rapid flickering and screen size issues (hitting the + to make it full screen would take it completely out of proportion). Thank you for the attempt at helping, any way to reverse the affects of updating the LWJGL?

Force update.
Though LWJGL should not have done anything you have described. Odd.
This is becoming a huge issue. If you can help it would be immensely appreciated.
