I've been playing for a long long time without it annoying me, but now it does since I got a brand new 1000$ PC. When I play, either solo or multiplayer with my friends, I get some "frameskip"(Minecraft is not fluid), if we can call them like that, and I don't know what to do. I tried autorizing minecraft to my antivirus, thinking it was scanning each and every single chunck loaded while I was playing but it didn't worked. I really don't know what to do now, and I'm tired of lagging in this game! HELP :C
Here's my spec:
CPU : AMD FX-4100 3.60 Ghz RAM: 8Gb DDR3 669.68 MHz Graphic Card: Nvidia GTX 550Ti HDD: Sata III 500Gb
Make sure that the nVidia card is handling Minecraft's graphics.
Right click on the desktop, select nVidia control panel, then select Manage 3D settings. Make sure the preferred graphics processor is set to high-performance nVidia processor.
Limit your FPS to ~60, this can eliminate most slutterings, to achieve this, turn on VSync.
Right click on the desktop, select nVidia control panel, then select Manage 3D settings. Make sure the preferred graphics processor is set to high-performance nVidia processor.
I don't have this option! ): And yeah, I do have 64-bit java running on a 64 bit machine, and how do i check if it handle minecraft graphcis?
