so the story is that:
i used to enter the multi from the browser cause the launcher cant connect, but once, suddenly the java has stopped working.
& every time i tried to enter a server it occured & the browser crashed & had to been closed. i though it was because the java isnt updated(i had 7u7). so i download it, & install it. & boom: "the file has no matches digital sighnature". so i though it was because the old java files, so i deleted them, run the installer agein, & the sighnature problem has occured agein, & i stucked with no java. so i redownloaded the 7u7 version. the minecraft works great, but all is clear(didnt find the right word, sorry) when i tries to enter a server. it occurs at the launcher, too. any help here?
If Not what server are you trying to connect to and if its a friend make sure he has port forwarded and if its your server connect with localhost
make sure the server is online and not down for maintenance ect
So your java files are stuck in the registry look for a program called Javamsifix i used it recently to fix the same problem
well i have installed forge, but for it i do copy of the jar, so the jar with the forge is not what i trying to run. but i still left mods in the 'mods' folder, does it can affect?the server i trying to enter to is hub.citi-build.com, & every thing is ok about it, its a public server. but also i tried to enter to my friend's privte server for working on project, & i cant get in to it, too. & i entered it before the problem has occured...about this program you mentioned, how do i use it? what does this mean, 'stuck in the registery'?
A Older Version of java i left key Files in the Registry and Minecraft Is Not Sure what to follow the old path or the new path and gets confused
And Try doing Everything Completely free of all possible mods and what works for me 80% of the time install java in a different partition.Try Removing the mods from the mods folder and if that doesn't work backup .Minecraft and then delete and re install Minecraft and Make sure java is not blocked in your firewall try Turning it off temporally and try Use a different version of java.
And A Solution that hasn't worked for me ever but is straight from Mojang help and support :
Java 7 is having trouble using the IPv6 format to communicate with minecraft.net. If this is the case, you'll need to tell Java 7 to prefer to use IPv4 instead of IPv6. Right-click on minecraft.exe and select "Create shortcut". Rename the shortcut to something else, such as "Minecraft with IPv4". Right-click on the shortcut and select properties. In the Target field, replace the text with: java -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true -Djava.net.preferIPv6Addresses=false -jar minecraft.exe If the shortcut cannot find the location of java, try the following location: "%ProgramFiles%\Java\jre7\bin\java" -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true -Djava.net.preferIPv6Addresses=false -jar minecraft.exe If the shortcut still does not help, it may be because you do not have the correct version of Java for your machine. Make sure you have 64-bit java if you have a 64-bit Operating system.
As soon as you download the program it has 1 button and it* will remove the old keys
It was made to automate the process so you don't mess up your registry .

i didnt use your help but thx. i didnt need it at the end. its finally worked out & i installed the latest java 7u21 without any issues. but y it occured with 7u17?
