Hey everybody just got minecraft today and tried to run it and got a screen with error: could not create the virtual java machine. I know that this has been talked about before but I don't quite understand how to fix it. If ya'll could help I'd really like it. Thanks

Uninstall all versions of Java present on the machine, then get the latest here. It is most likely a corrupted install.
