Help my minecraft kept downgrading to 1.4.5 so i said force update and it came up with FATAL ERROR OCCURED (4): NULL
i tried everything reinstall delete .minecraft EVERYTHING does anyone else have this problem if so please help me i really need to play minecraft again.
When i have problems playing minecraft, i just play in the browser. If i'm playing offline and i get this problem, i restart the computer and that usually fixes the problem.

I just tried this, and after loading, it just goes blank.
