1. I go to www.minecraft.net
2. I click on the orange 'download now' button
3. I click on Minecraft.exe (270 KB)
4. I save it in my downloads
5. In my downloads it's listed as 257 KB in size.
6. I double click > run > name & password > login
7. Can't connect to minecraft.net
So what does this mean for me? It means I can't update it. I can't run it in offline mode, because it says (Not downloaded) below the 'Play Offline' button.
I've tried the help section. Found my 'hosts' file and opened it up, using both notepad and word. There was no s3.amazon.com or minecraft.net listed in it. In fact there wasn't a lot listed in it. Almost nothing.
What now?
