I've been having the "Could not open java virtual machine" error when i try to open minecraft. I've tried magic launcher and a whole lot of walkthroughs to fix this on youtube. I've un-installed java off this computer and tried to re-install java, and at the end of the installation it says the same thing mine craft tells me. "Could not create java virtual machine." Is there any way i can fix this so i can re-install java? this might fix minecraft all together.
(I've looked everywhere for this solution and couldn't find anything)

In the environment variables window in the system variables tab i have "path" highlighted. i went to edit it, and i couldn't follow what you meant by " modify PATH by adding the location of the class to the value for PATH."
