So, starting only a couple days ago, I have been having issues with the mouse in windowed mode. Whenever I click fast, my mouse cursor will flash on the screen and lock up and I will either move in one direction without even hitting a key, or I will start jumping without hitting the space bar. This is horribly annoying because I mainly play on PvP servers and it makes it impossible to fight when this happens.
P.S I already tried deleting and re-installing minecraft.
Cestis, I just updated my LWJGL and for some reason nothing happened. I watched several YouTube vids on how to do it and it didn't work. It worked for some people. I am guessing that my LWJGL is the problem because I recently had to re-download Java, and that's when the trouble started. If you have any ideas, you are welcome to share.
Ohlyhe, you seriously just described all the issues I have been having, knowing that its not just me with this particular issue, maybe someone can figure out how to fix it. >.<
This started happening to me starting the instant I updated to 1.5.2. I have the same problem as everyone seems to be having on this post. This makes me confident that it is not an OS problem because I run Linux Ubuntu, and I am going to try updating lwjgl today. This is either a problem with the update or lwjgl.
I just updated lwjgl, and it works perfectly again. I even tried turning rain on and other sources of lag. For the record I am using optifine (I was before I updated lwjgl too however); I don't think optifine is really a factor in this situation.
MY CONCLUSION:
When Minecraft updates, it replaces everything in the whole bin folder, including lwjgl versions. I checked the ones that downloaded with the update and they were version 2.8.5. I downloaded lwjgl from the site and it was version 2.9.0. Everyone who is having this problem, update lwjgl.
If it still doesnt work for you, then your probably not installing lwjgl properly.
So I attempted to update my jwjgl once more hoping that it would work. And it did! Why it must not have worked before is because I think I got an outdated version of jwjgl and I was manually updating it. So thank you all for helping me with this
