My minecraft still can't open up after the 1.5.1 update. pls help i need to get on with my fav server.

Try deleting your entire mc folder in the library/application_support/minecraft and then reinstalling. Actually don't delete it, just move it to another place. That should work, it did for me on my mac.

i updated the LWJGL but minecraft is still not opening/started

Can someone answer me pls?

how do u replace libopenal.dylib with openal.dylib.
and it is still not working here. maybe someone have skype and i screenshare my computer?

My understanding of this is the latest LWJGL 2.9 builds fix this without the need to downgrade to Java 1.6, so I'd try that first:

Download: lwjgl-2.9.0.zip

it is not working, the new crash report still saying LWJGL is 2.4.2. can someone help me out with skype screenshare?

Make sure you're replacing something - if not, you're doing it wrong.

maybe i didn't replace a file, but i dunno how to replace it though. btw i see ur location is hong kong, r u from hong kong or just living in hong kong?

i can only open with minecraftsp.jar but not the original minecraft launcher, which can't play server
