so i just got on minecraft and i updated to 1.5.1 and everything is gone my texture packs my servers everything

i think the unstitching stuff is only if you want to update the texture pack yourself, if the creator of the texture pack has 1.5 in the thread title it shouldn't need anything done to it

Texturepacks in which were made for previous versions should return the default ones.

As stated, you can unstich texturepacks's with Mojang's official unsticher here: http://assets.minecraft.net/unstitcher/unstitcher.jar

There is a tool that the Wiki showed off that unstiched texture packs. I forget the name however.
