Can't open Minecraft getting error

Please help

I was playing Minecraft perfectly for half a year and never had a single error and now I've got an

ERROR: Could not create Java Virtual Machine
ERROR: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.

What should I do ? ? ?

Im getting an error like that 2 but im using an iMac on Lion but it says failed to launch

Try reinstalling java by uninstalling it from your program's then reinstalling it.

TNX this actualy helped, i looked in every possible place where java was and deleted it after that i reinstalled it and it worked tnx again ethan
