Hello, I need some help. For the past little while I have been trying to make youtube videos on Minecraft. I bought Fraps, downloaded the latest version, then tryed it out on Euro Truck Sim 2 and Farming Simulator 2, and it was successful. No lagg or FPS drop whatsoever. But when I try to record Minecraft, anfter 1 second to 10 minutes Fraps would crash and my Minecraft would start spazzing and I could only look up or down. I know my laptop can handle this because those to OpenGL or DX games could both run awesome no lagg. This problem happens on Vanilla and Modded minecraft. BTW Fraps is recording to my D drive (Internal Secondary Drive) but it does the same thing on my C drive (Main drive)

P.S. When I say secondary, I mean the drive without the windows files on it. Like an internal backup drive.

My PC specs are as follows:

Processor: Intel i5 2.30ghz (BUt it has a turbo boost thing that allows it to go up to 2.90ghz)
RAM: 6gb
64 Bit Windows 7 operating system
I have a 32 Bit and a 64 Bit updated java on here to.

The minecraft screen just locks my view point into the sky or to the ground and doesn't let me move or control the screen, it just goes all crazy until I close minecraft, and while this is happening, Fraps crashes. Thank you for replying!

My recording key is Ctrl-Shift-R

How do I do #1? and how do I tell #2?

Sorry for the delay. I amde sure it was using the 64bit and my fps is 129fps and around 12 chunk updates (If that is important)It still bugs out

Try running FRAPS and Minecraft as an administrator, that might help.

I have this problem to! Just until recently Fraps and Minecraft would run fine together but now Fraps will crash my Minecraft after a couple seconds or minutes!

Yea, I am frustrated. :(I am gunna try getting a older version of Fraps (3.4)I will let u know if it works

I was actually just using FRAPS with Minecraft earlier today with no problems.

I set the recording key to f12 and tryed it and it owrked like a charm! Thx for all ur help!

Try setting it to different keys, also do you know what Java version you are running (32bit, 64bit) Cus if you have a 64 bit computer you can install both versions of Java and that help minecraft a bit.

BTW I am gunna subscribe to ur channel, so if ya don't mind maybe you could sub back? Oh BTW when I uninstalled java completely then reinstalled both the 32 and 64 bit versions it worked, dunno why but it did! yay! Check tou my channel on youtube, videos will be up in an hour or so!

I set it to f12 and it didnt work. I have a 64bit OS and used to run MC on 32bit java then when fraps stopped working I tried 64 bit and it didnt work. Thanks for the sub I subbed ya back
