Two personal computers. One a desktop, one a laptop. The desktop's specs are not even in the same league as the laptop. The only difference is the laptop only has an integrated graphic card.
The Desktop:
Plays normal fps shooters/any good 3D game - 10 fps
Plays Minecraft: 60fps
The Laptop:
Plays any normal and high quality fps 3D game - 60 fps minimum
Plays minecraft - 10 fps
Do not give me any crap about specs, mods, ram. I have 2gb of ram allocated to minecraft. I raised its priority. It barely uses any of it. It doesn't even get up to 30% cpu use. I play crysis 2 or batman arkham city like it was nothing but minecraft I struggle to make it to 20 fps.
I have uninstalled all my java, re-installed the latest version for my personal computer. What on earth is wrong with this game. Is it simply coded sloppily? Can it not work with good computers? Everything on my laptop tells me the game should be just fine, but it still doesn't.
Someone, please tell me what the hell is going on.
Cheers.

So I have 8 cpu's on my laptop. I tried using optifine's multi-core setting but that only makes me lag more. I just can't see what minecraft could possible be doing to my pc.
