I just updated my version of minecraft today and i'm having an issue where my computer will beep at me every time i start the game and occasionally while im playing.

Also, if i have multiple of an item in my action bar, the number of the item will flicker constantly. I've updated my java to the latest version and checked my video card to see if the fan had stopped working. (it still works fine)

the speakers. It's the windows default notification sound.
