System Specs : Alienware M17x

Processor : Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3630QM CPU @ 2.40GHzGB
Installed Memory (RAM) : 16 (15.9GB usable)
System Type: 64bit OS x64-based processor Windows 8
Graphics : AMD Radeon HD 7970M

I have no idea why its started to flicker, I haven't had any issues up until now. It runs all other games fine and no glitches.

See this too. Things were working fine. Got a message to update to Java 7 update 17, so closed minecraft and did the update. After restarting minecraft, flicker o rama. Pretty sure it's the java update. Running OSX 10.8.3.

It flickers white and all items disappear except people and animal models. Its extremely frustrating cause I can't see where I'm going.
