Hey!

I know that this is possible because I remember a patch a while ago where they added the ability for you to type in a config file somewhere what you want your window size to be. I can't seem to find that file, and I'm having no luck with google in finding where it is (all I'm getting are programs that do it for you, I just want to type the numbers in myself).

Can anybody tell me where the file is that has that info? I'm assuming it's in the minecraft appdata folder somewhere, I just want to set my window size to 1600x900 for recording purposes.

You can just make it bigger in the top right corner of your screen unless you have some sort of computer/browser I havent heard of.

I have a maximize button of course , but my monitor is 1920x1080 and I'm looking to have the window size be exactly 1600x900 for recording, and I'd like to avoid having to change my screen resolution every time I want to film the game.

The Magic Launcher also has a size setting. Make sure you check what the size ends up as because the size setting also includes the boarder.

There's a resolution setting in the profiles in the new launcher. That might help you. Just tick the box that says resolution and enter the custom numbers for the resolution you want.

open your .minecraft folder, go to options, scroll down find screen width and screen height and change the values to fit your screen
