So for the past two or three days my Minecraft client has been undergoing some problems. I've recently downloaded the OS X Lion update over the Mac App Store and have updated to Java 7. I don't believe that the problems started exactly when I updated either of the two installs, but I'm unable to play my game now nevertheless.
There is an explanation on the Mojang Bug Tracker, but it seems that the moderators over there are unsure whether the problem lies on their end or is related to a security measure or something else as a result of Apple's changes.
Basically once I tap any key, say double-tap "w" to run, the rest of the keyboard does not respond.
Note: I've also just updated, a few minutes ago, my lwjgl to the newest version following the instructions on the Minecraft Wiki page: http://www.minecraft...ls/Update_LWJGL
Thanks for all consideration to help!
