I ran a terminal command that is supposed to unhide Library, didn't work. I checked out the minecraft folder, it didn't exist. I tried to make a new Folder and just call it minecraft, it didn't work. Added a bin folder to it, still didn't work. I'm out of ideas. Please help. If you need more info, I'll deliver. Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I couldn't hear you over the sound of how awesome minecraft is.
Rename your minecraft.jar file to something else, like minecraft123.jar, this will tell the updater to re-download the jar file.
Open minecraft, click update, and it will proceed. Problem solved. It won't kill your saves or anything, just any modifications you've made to the jar file itself.
doesnt workso to get to your mine craft folder go in texture packs open texture pack folder go and after you are in your minecraft folder and you go back you can open anything in your minecraft folder!
