Hello everyone so I have been playing on a server for about a week now. The server is MC-Convicted.org and if i try to do the little parkour challenges they have in the map like tunnel quest. If i fall in the lava and die, once i respawn i go from 150 fps down to around 5. I don't know what to do in order to fix this, I have tried playing with all my video settings in the game and nothing helped. Can someone please help me??
Probably related to the server setting or the connection between you and the server.
Also, if the spawn chunk is very far away from the lava area it means the server will have to resend all relative chunks, which can be the cause of these lag spikes.

thank you, and I was assuming that it was resending all the chunks which was causing it but it really started to annoy me last night so I figure I would post about it. thanks for the help

thank you, and I was assuming that it was resending all the chunks which was causing it but it really started to annoy me last night so I figure I would post about it. thanks for the help
