I'm having a problem with one of my maps on a SMP server my GF and I play on our LAN. I have a fully zoomed out map that I cloned twice making 3 total maps. I keep one in my map room in an item frame, the other I have in my inventory and the other my GF has in a chest. I recently took down the map in my map room and placed it on a different wall back in the item frame. Now, however, the maps don't show the white marker it did before showing the location of the two mobile maps. The green marker is still there, however, where my map room is.
Has anyone run into anything similar or knows of a fix? I'm planning on trying to get the maps together in a single stack again and see if that solves the issue.
We weren't able to find the chest my GF's map is in yet. I did, however, take down the one I had in the item frame. The map still shows the green marker where the framed map used to be and the map does update when I go to a previously unexplored area. Unfortunately, the white markers showing the map's current position are still missing.
