We recently switched to a new monitor (old regular monitor broke), in which we switched to our flatscreen TV, hooked up via HDMI cord. It works perfectly, except for a few old games which hate its color output.
When ever I enter fullscreen with minecraft, it will just give me a black screen, then my tv says "Searching for signal..." and 5 seconds later it will say "Not supported mode." and just sit there. I can still interact in the background, and when windowed the game works fine. Any idea how to fix this, really don't want to resort to a borderless windowed fullscreen fix.
My monitor/TV/whatever you will call it, is a SAMSUNG (doesn't have a model name...?), Windows 7 x64 bit, worked before I used this TV, so other system specs really wouldn't help a lot.
Also found a "fix" for it which was to update java to x64 bit, and it didn't work at all (It's not really related to my problem at all either).
To long, didn't read: I'm using a TV for a monitor VIA HDMI cord, minecraft fullscreen gives me "unsupported mode." Windowed works fine.

Full screen is borked for minecraft. Just maximize the right window if you want full screen. Deleting options.txt will revert it back to windowed mode.
