I bought my son this game about 6 weeks ago. He played it for about 2 weeks when the "W" key quit working on the keyboard. I didn't take the time to look into it until just the last couple days. The w key works outside of minecraft. It looks as though everything else is working on Mincraft with the exception of the W key. We have Windows Vista.

Any help is appreciated. He's 8 and really wants to play again.

maybe you didn't bind it, check the mouvement options, i hope your problem will be fixed.

Go to options and click on controls. There, you can change what the walk buttons are.

Force update your game brother, check the options tab before logging in.

He has probably messed his controls up. Check them. Make sure "W" is still "forward".

Also, try and force update.

You should try updating your LWJGL.
