Enchanted Bow Causing Slow Motion

I have been having a severe problem with my Minecraft client as of late and have tried about everything to fix it and nothing is helping. Every time I draw back an enchanted bow my frames drop drastically and while I am aiming everything moves in slow motion. I am at a loss, I have tried the new 1.5.1 pre release client and it didn't fix it. Does anyone know what could possibly be causing this issue?

Maybe too many things open in the background, try using optifine. Optifine should help a bit, but if not.. I really don't know.

Bump, still having this issue. Is there anyone else here having the same issue? If so, has anyone figured out how to fix it?
