For some reason unknown to me, this happens while I'm playing the game, constantly. It changes depends on what I am looking at, sometimes becoming barely noticeable while underground. But it is becoming quite annoying.

Nah, it happens with the normal texture pack too. This is Sphax BD 128x128.

I am also on a 64 bit computer, but my java is 64bit, so I don't think that matters

It reduced the purpleness, and now the white lines are black.
