Hi, this has been going for quite a while, I tried deleting minecraft and downloading it again, force updating, everything I know of.
The problem is, when i try to type (in the chat, signs) in lower cased letters, It shows something that looks like german alphabet, with more weird letters (not trying to offend anybody).
If I try to type something like: "/tp blabla blublu" it shows weird letters, I press return, and it says "Unknown command", the only way I can type in English is when I caps lock (And commands do not work, and... everyone thinks I'm shouting at them).

What can I do?

It seems you changed some of your settings.
Easiest fix: (Assuming you're on Windows) delete the file:

%appdata%/.minecraft/options.txt

If you're on a Mac:

~Library/Application Support/minecraft/options.txt

It's not working ...
I tried deleting the file then force updating, and without force updating.
Do you have another solution that might work?
