Blocks keep flashing/glitching and going see through, HELP

This has become quite annoying, im playing on a server and the blocks keep going see thru and flashing so i can see what im doing or where im going, any reason why this could be?

This is called block lag, it's caused by a slow connection to the server or a crappy server. There isn't really much that we can do on our end.
