Whenever I try to connect to a server with over 100-150 people, I'm able to log in, but then all the players freeze, the connection times out, and my internet connection goes out for a minute or so. Occasionally I receive one or two chat messages before this happens. It's not that the server has Bukkit, I've been able to connect to servers of about 30-50 people with Bukkit before, and I can connect to my friend's private Vanilla server, but large servers are a problem. This has been happening for a few months now. Any thoughts?
Edit; This also happens on certain websites. It loads for about 1/10 second and just quits.
Edit 2; This also happens on servers such as hivemc.eu when joining a game, even though there's a limit of about 25 people. They all have the Steve skin and are facing the same direction.
if websites are having problems then i would look at your internet connection and not minecraft.
what connection speed do you have? and ping? http://www.speedtest.net http://www.pingtest.net
