When I place redstone blocks on single player they don't give off a signal, but when I play on servers they work perfectly fine. So the question I'm asking is: Why aren't redstone blocks working for me?
You are supposed to use it to activate activator rails, TNT in Minecarts, etc...
Aren't redstone blocks supposed to power anything that requires a redstone signal? On servers they work fine for me, and they activate anything they're touching, but on single player they don't work at all.
That's right.
Strange that it doesn't work for you. Do you have any mods installed?
Maybe try deleting your bin folder in .minecraft, and then force update.
I can help you with that.
It cán be possible that it's because your singleplayer worlds.
Try starting with a new world and a new minecraft.jar
The only mod I have is NEI, but I'll try what you said
