I can't update to 1.5. I updated it but as soon as a log in minecraft crashes. Please help. Here is the crashlog. Is it because my OS is too old?

i already did. i deleted the whole file and it still didnt work

i force updated it and then it kept on crashing so, i am able to log in, then i get to the mojang screen, then it says minecraft has crashed and i get the crash report

Try Going to Your BIN folder and deleting Minecraft.Jar, Then open up minecraft launcher and click Options, Then click "Force Update"

i deleted the entire file off my computer and completly took mincraft off my computer and i also deleted both the bin and recource files and it still didnt change

have you got a mac, because if you do 1.5 is not compatible. If have have other computer try downloading technic launcher or bukkit it is the same as minecraft but it has mods.

i have a mac, but my bro who also has a mac was able to update, so im wondering if its just the model(idk what its called im a complete computer noob..)... thanks for your help guys, i hope im able to fx it later...

i have the same problem dut it says acess dinied why i try to update it

Updated ur Java, maybe that will help.
