Hello,

I am knew to this site but have been playing minecraft for a long time..

About 1 week ago i had to do a system restore on my computer and it screwed up a lot of things, i couldn't load some games but i got them fixed. As for minecraft thats a different story.

Anytime i open it - it won't open. the curser will act like its loading then go back to nothing

I have Deteted the whole file from my computer and tried re-installing it, but it won't even open the install minecraft file(that i downloaded from minecraft.net)

I am running a Samsung laptop

Processor AMD a6-3420M APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 1.50 GHz
Installed Memory( RAM) 6.00 GB (5.48 GB useable)
System type 64 Bit Operating system.


I had the minecraft running for a long time(about a year) on this computer, then when i did the system restore.. all this started happening.

If anyone could help that'd be great

ah i had a few problems so i was forced to do a restore, Then i had Mcafee go through my comp and clean it up(cuz it was running SUPER slow) I Deleted Minecraft right off my computer, already so i'll try Updating the Graphic drivers, but i already updated the Java and Also tried Downloading a JRE from Java because i've seen some people online saying that helped but it didnt.

I also have added the minecraft install to my windows allow list through the fire wall/turned off my Mcafee and still nothing.

Okay, i figured it out, after spending prob a total 6 hours, Windows finally came up with a "Action required" notification.. The java was corrupted(even though i had already deleted and re-down loaded) so i did that again, then 2x Important windows updates came up.. and now i got it working.
