Hi,

I updated minecraft to 1.5 about this morning,
I tried to login but went into black screen.

I have no mods,

I checked my .minecraft folder and the only thing was in there is

BIN, lastlogin and something else.

i have no mods, the only mod i ever installed was Optifine, but that was back in 1.4.6

So, help?

I running a Lenovo Ubuntu 12.04 with a Intel Processor.

It looks like if you only have that in your folder you are missing quite a few things.

Try reinstalling and get a new .minecraft.

Thanks, but i tried to force update my minecraft and deleted my .minecraft folder a trillion times. it's just stuck on the black screen.
