So I have a older elite book laptop *forgot the model number I know it's elite book* and when ever I go into full screen it closes it self then I have to change the options.txt from fullscreen true to false but it works just fine with my lenovo laptop though I only have the lenovo laptop when I'm visiting my dads most of the time I'm on the elite book so now what? unless I get a new computer I'm screwed? this only happened when I went in and out of full screen mode like 5 times now it doesn't work at all not sure if it has anything to do with the computer but I've been having probs using full screen since 1.2.5 *I would use F11 and BOOM*

Minecraft is awesome but the more powerful god is not Notch it's the creator of valve
I have the newest version of java and that's stupid what do you mean Fullscreen is exclusive to new computers I can run fullscreen in team fortress 2 and other steam games just fine and youtube videos run fine in full screen as well but I will update the graphics Driver when I'm home and have the laptop with me
Windows 7 Home Premium 34 bit
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo CPU P8700 @ 2.53GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.53GHZ
Memory: 3072MB RAM
System Model: HP Elite Book 6390p
Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family
Wait that's not a Graphics Card? what? then what is it cuz I found it in dxdiag that's what it said in display drivers witch I was guessing is the graphics card? or is that not it?
Full screen requires more graphics memory, it's possible that your older computer doesn't have enough memory (available shared memory, especially since you said it worked a few times).
First try a simple reboot, then don't run too many other apps at the same time.
I've been using it to run fullscreen for a few days now and it seems to be your best bet at doing so. I can't run it fullscreen on my computer the "original" way, but I can if I use this.
I tryed to update the Driver and I got this error no idea what it means I have a custom driver on my computer O_O
A customized computer manufacturer driver is installed on your computer. The Intel Driver Update Utility is not able to update the driver. Installing a generic Intel driver instead of the customized computer manufacturer driver may cause technical issues. Contact your computer manufacturer for the latest driver for your computer.
say what.....
and how do I find if I do have a Graphics card or not?
