Update 1.5 was installed on my mac recently, and right after installation it crashed! All of my friends' computers have done this, too. They warned me not to install it, but I wanted to visit my friend's server, which I did not have the software update to get on it. Java and everything is up to day, by the way. Is it JUST apple macs, or has anyone else been experiencing this also? I'm posting this because I am NOT a very happy camper at this point.

i had the same prob for a while but i had a brother that also had mc on his computer so i copyed his .minecraft and put it over my .minecraft and that worked

1. Downgrade to 1.4.7
2. Wait for 1.5.1
3. Upgrade your Mac OS.
