Yes i have the latest 1.5 redstone update and none of the mods i want work with it and was wondering how can i go back to an earlier version of minecraft so i can use them mods?

If you want a different version you can change the 1_4_7 to any version you want. E.g. 1_3_1, 1_1, etc. But you must install in manually like a snapshot. If you want a convenient way to change back and forth quickly between versions here is a version changer tool.
